Born and raised in East Texas, Webb Davis showed an early interest in photography, and his early works are heavily influenced by the pastoral landscapes of the south. After his involvement in the photography program at Galveston College, along with years of personal experimentation, Davis decided to pursue a degree at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA where he majored in Professional Photography with an emphasis in commercial advertisisng. While at Brooks Institute, Davis mentored under such renowned photographers as Richard Reinsdorf and Norman Jean Roy.

After graduating, Davis moved to Los Angeles to continue work on his portfolio in a small studio downtown. Inspired by the city, Davis's style began to shift toward a dynamic blend of his early southern influences fused with a new metropolitan backdrop. The close proximity to Mexico and the deserts of southeast California also provided a wealth of inspiration and beautiful and interesting locations to develop his style. These influences are prevalent in the bodies of work completed during this period.

Currently residing in New York City, Davis continues to perfect his craft and build a network with other artists and industry professionals. Combining traditional photographic techniques with cutting edge digital technology, Davis creates a system with limitless options.
